Today, I’ll be sharing my top 5 concealers. Yippie yay!💃
When it comes to concealers, I prefer to use a shade or 2 shades lighter than my skin tone to give that ‘sorta’ perfect natural highlight without looking too ghostly.👀
Let’s dive right in…
1. Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer: I use the shade Amande. It’s described as a medium dark with a golden olive undertone. This concealer is so smooth and lightweight, you can easily build up the coverage. It’s got a luxurious/ luminous texture and finish. love it!
2. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer: This is one of my favourite and the least expensive of the bunch. I use the shade Warm Olive 145. Perfect shade to conceal ‘dem‘ under eye circles.😌😀
Very buildable, awesome for everyday wear. It’s got a ‘non drying’ texture which makes it perfect for mature skin. Love love it!
3. Tarte Shape Wear Concealer: Another all-time favourite. If I want that extra coverage? This does an amazing job! I use the shade 53N Deep.
It’s called ‘facetune in a bottle’ for a reason. 😁
Applies so smoothly and a little goes a long way. It doesn’t crease or transfer but can become cakey If I apply too much. Did I say full coverage? Oh yeah! This concealer is full as full can be. 😃

4. Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’R Instant Retouch Concealer: There is a good reason this made it to my top 5. And the main reason, it’s for the oily skin gal or boi. I use the shade 420. Does a great job at covering acne or dark scars. Although it can get cakey when iI use it as an under eye concealer but does an amazing job for spot concealing.
5. Two Faced Born This Way Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer: One of the ‘bestest’ full coverage concealers. I use the shade Chestnut.
It’s long lasting, not so drying, love the satin finish, doesn’t get cakey, a little goes a long way, blends like a dream, looks amazing on photographs, you get a lot of product compared to other concealers. Just love it and recommend! 💓

I’d go for number 2, especially, during the days when work won’t let me differentiate between day and night times.

How do you use concealers? Before or after the foundation?
I’ve tried it both ways and there wasn’t much of a difference. Although I prefer applying concealers after my foundation so I control the amount I apply.
