I always find my skin feels clean after using a charcoal mask. Controls the oil-oil on my face😬 and reduces acne breakouts. What’s not to love?!
Lush ‘Dark Angels’ Facial Cleanser:
Love the name ( don’t tell my mother!😆). I remember the first time I tried this at the Lush shop on Oxford street in London ( thanks brother & sister bird for hooking me up 😘 ). The Lush attendant tried it on the back of my hand and oh my! Was I sold! Felt so smooth and clean after he rinsed it off. 💓
Lush description: Black sugar and charcoal exfoliate. Absorbs excess oils to leave dull, oily and acne-prone skin feeling fresh and matte.
It’s rhassoul mud base deeply cleanses to help breakouts. while vitamin-rich cold pressed organic avocado oil nourishes skin to leave it soft and lightly hydrated.
How to use: Take a small amount in your hand, add a little water and mix into a paste. massage into skin to gently cleanse, then rinse clean.
Personally, after massaging it, I leave it on for 10-15 mins before rinsing. This ‘baby’ deep cleanses your skin for sure! You can also use it all over your body. Plus I like the black liquorice smell… uhmmm 😊
My only ‘wahala’, it always makes a mess of my sink.😭
Still, the benefits definitely outweighs the downside. 🙋

Loreal Pure Clay Detox Mask:
This is one of my favourite face mask! The packaging, price and easy application is a big plus.
It’s so creamy, goes on smoothly and dries reasonably fast. A few minutes after application, you get the feeling that a magnet is drawing out the impurities and toxins from your skin.
I sometimes leave mine on for 15 minutes. After rinsing it off, my skin instantly has a glow. It leaves my skin feeling soft and not as drying like other products I’ve tried.
If you have oily skin, add this to your beauty regime. Your skin will look clean, clear, smooth and fresh. Who doesn’t like that?!😍

Oh yes! Their body wash is worth it too especially ‘Sleepy’ and ‘Rose Jam’. They smell amazing!
